BTech Cyber Security is a 4 years duration undergraduate degree which emphasizes comprehensive knowledge of Cyber Crime, Network Security, Data structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Cryptography, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems etc. At LPU this programme aims towards creating graduates with specialization in Cybersecurity and Blockchain which emphasizes comprehensive knowledge of Cyber Crime, Network Security, Cryptography, Threat Intelligence, Intrusion Detection and Prevention. Students gain knowledge regarding unauthorised access, protection of networks and data from attacks along with smart contracts. The eligibility for the program is Pass with 70% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE (Main) BTech Cyber Security course is designed to understand the process, practices, and gain knowledge regarding unauthorized access, protection of networks, computers, programs, and data from unknown attacks. The course mentors the students into maintaining digital documents or carrying out an investigation to conclude who played which role to conduct unauthorized tasks. The course is apt for individuals who are fascinated by the cybersecurity industry, its tricky threat intelligence and are eager to gain advanced knowledge of malware reverse engineering, penetration testing, and cyber forensics.
