Distance education of bharthiar university approved by UGC or not ?

Dear Student,
Distance Learning courses at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore have not been included in the current list of approved courses by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
However, according to a Public Notice available on the website, the matter is sub-judice in the Madras High Court and the High Court has stayed the UGC's order from admitting students for Distance Learning courses.
You may have to contact the university to get more details.
