B Tech Biotech at LPU is an Engineering program which articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects pertaining to biotechnology for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET. A set of 4 to 6 elective courses in engineering to enhance competency in the technical and/or emerging domain. (e.g for electronic and electrical- students taking courses in automobile/ robotics/ cybersecurity to build competency in this area.) Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. are an integral part of curriculum.
