Dear Aspirant, admissions are open for session 2023 in LPU. LPU is the first private university recognised by ICAR. University offers graduation to doctorate courses under agriculture discipline. The minimum age to take admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is 16 years. You can apply for admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and duration of this course is 4 years including 8 semesters. Eligibility Criteria of Bsc agriculture is Qualifying LPUNEST is mandatory and candidate must be pass with 60% aggregate marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent 5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants. Programme Fee (per semester) is Rs 120000 without scholarship. LPU offers numerous scholarships you can avail any one scholarship. Eligibility: To get admission, you should have passed with 60% marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Forestry)+LPUNEST or (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture)+LPUNEST or (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent+LPUNEST. LPUs agriculture program is designed for the holistic development of students. LPUs School of Agriculture offers an up-to-date curriculum designed to suit the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The laboratories of the School are world-class. The dedicated faculty gives the students hands-on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units. It includes disciplines like Agronomy, Horticulture Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Economics, Extension, etc. The major emphasis of this is to get the students acquainted with knowledge and hands-on experiences in the above-mentioned discipline and apply that knowledge to high-value agricultural production in a sustainable manner.
