Hello,

Choosing between M.Tech and MBA depends on three things:

1. Technical skills: If you have the right technical skills that are required to be in the engineering field, you can opt for M.Tech.

If you think that you can do well in business, or as a manager or any other management job, you can opt for MBA.

2. Interest: It depends on your firld of interest. Again if technical knowledge interests you more and you look yourself as an engineer in the future, you can opt for M.Tech.

If you think you can do marvels in management field and you dont have interest in engineering anymore, you can opt for MBA.

3. Colleges available: Have a look at the colleges available to you for both the options and then you can choose wisely.

Since you have already given GATE exam, you are eligible to apply for the top M.Tech Colleges in India:

To apply in any of the top MBA colleges in India, you will have to appear for CAT exam first:

Hope this answer helped:)

Thanks
