How to get into It field with background of biology : I have completed my 12 In pcb and interested in IT field, I wanted to become programmer, developer, do coding etc. How can I get into It field and suggest good ranking colleges

Since you are from PCB background, you will not be able to do a B.Tech in IT as it requires you to study maths in class 12. However, there are other options for you in this field. Check out the courses that you can pursue after class 12th here.

You have various options to foray into the IT sector as there is no specific career path that you need to follow. Bachelors’ degree is essential to grab a good job as soon as you graduate. Apart from this, there are some basic qualities that can be developed over the time such as problem-solving qualities, strong logical skills, mathematics, etc. Have a look at the education qualifications that you ae going to need.

Education and Training for IT Industry:

• Bachelors’ degree i.e. either BCA or B.Sc. in CSE or IT.
• Training or Certificate courses in the fields of your interest add to your CV’s advantage.
• Although masters’ degree is not a compulsion but certainly adds an edge to your qualifications preferably MCA and M.Sc. in the same field.
• Candidates having two or more years of experience in the same field have better scope in getting good wages.

How to apply:

Admission procedure for the programmes mentioned above varies from college to college. Some universities admit students on the basis of their marks in class 12.
