Yes, LPU is a good university for engineering. From few years, the demand for engineers is very high in industries and the IT sector due to the increment in the application and software-based automation processes. So, your choice, of course, is perfect to begin your career. As my brother did B.Tech in LPU, I can give you insight of this university. 1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure, and facilities are excellent as IITs, NITs. 2) In LPU, due to tie-ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE etc., the syllabus of courses is vetted and inspected by these company professionals in the beginning of every semester. 3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills etc., are part of the curriculum here like; you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. For on-campus Lab training and internships 5) The innovation studio of LPU is a benchmark for a design and development center where students can work on their ideas. In 2019, during PM Narender Modi's visit to LPU for the Indian Science Congress address, he had visited the main venue from helipad in Driver less car designed by LPU students using artificial intelligence. 6) LPU has its space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on a satellite program with the joint help of ISRO. So, these are the few points of LPU that will help you decide to take admission. Good Luck
