Most of the college provides placements and internships to their students to get hands on the practical know how of the subject. Being from Punjab, I have seen the growth of the LPU from past few years. Yes, LPU provides internships to students. Concludingly, internship is a good option for students. As a student you need to be dedicated in the class room teachings and make the best use of the practical's as the labs are well equipped with the latest technologies. The well trained faculty is very helpful, you can ask for add on academic guidance. The hackathons and MOOCs should be participated regularly. Register yourself for the placement preparatory classes. Participate in all the technological events that take place regularly in collaboration with the giant techs. Be energetic for the projects which you will be told to prepare. Yes, LPU provides internships to students during vacation in order to help them financially. I think its a great thing which also help them to increase my skills. After finishing the job they provide us a certificate that make my CV impressive that help me to get the best placement drives. In this they give work to students on different departments. Process to enroll in the Internships inside campus: You will get the notification on your UMS for the Part-time Job. You should visit to your dashboard on UMS, then on the upper side of screen you will see the option for par time job. You will register for this. You will get email for interview. After the interview, you will get email, if you are selected then you can join.
