Amity is good for placements but certainly not the best, since the career decision is crucial, even more so is the decision of your college! With all big names in question it becomes a little tricky. With 16 years of experience behind me, I would compare the universities for MBA on following parameters: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the MBA programme must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. Are must for any professional to succeed in career. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills. Diversity: As he world shrinks into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a B-School is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Industry interface: Ultimately, its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any MBA programme. Placements: Since the ultimate aim of attaining a skill/knowledge/degree is to have a career, it is desirable that whichever university you chose, it must have good industry linkages to attract the good recruiters which value fresh talent. In all these parameters LPU has done exceptionally well in last decade or so, its unmatched placement record speaks for itself with more than 700 companies coming to campus on regular basis for recruitment. It is miles ahead of any one in the parameters stated above. DVD

Hello! I am not so aware about Amity University, Being an Alumni of LPU, I would say LPU offers 100% placements to eligible students. Recently LPU has been awarded with National Employability Award and Students of LPU are termed as Most Employable Students. If you are looking forward with a great placements, you need to keep few things in mind. I will be sharing the details based on my own personal experience. Placements equally depends upon the student as on the university. It is must to maintain a good academic track record, which is the major point to be noted. Also, you should add few additional stars in your CV apart from your regular course, you should involve yourself in any extra curricular activity, projects, internships and to stand out and grab the best placement opportunity. If you talking about LPU, LPU provides you ample opportunities for the same. LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from Iims, IBSs, etc. The B-School of the university has ACBSP accreditation and has been ranked as one of the best by MHRD. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during recent academic session for campus placements like Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, SAP Labs, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, Best Seller, Bharti AXA, Decathlon Sports, Exide Industries, Emami, Eye-Q Vision, ITC Limited, Janalakshmai Financial Services, Kelloggs, MRF, Naukri, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global, Writer Corporation, Nivesh Group, OCWEN Financial, Practo, Redington, Transport Corporation of India, etc. LPU students have also availed opportunities of Placements in government services like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Transport Corporation of India, etc. , through on-campus/off-campus placement drives and SSB interviews. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students are given a lot of on-job training as well as work on projects where they can earn also. Placement Enhancement Programs (PEP) classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. I hope this helps. All the Best!
