Dear student,
Whether you should do a job or pursue MBA or MS is completely dependent on your skill set and your interest. So, if you are academically inclined and want to pursue a career in research and analysis, then MS is what you should opt for. However, if you wish to go to the business aspect of a career, then we suggest that you do MBA. Since you are already a B. Tech graduate, you are already well versed in the technical aspect of your industry, so if you wish to, you can explore the business aspect and opt for MBA.
However, if you do decide to so an MBA, we suggest that you get a job experience of 1 - 2 years. That way, not only will you be well versed with the practical implications of your job, but also understand the business needs of the industry. In addition to this, once you clear your MBA entrance exams, and are shortlisted for PI, perhaps, having a job experience will be an added advantage for you. Hence you may be a step closer to getting admission to your choicest MBA college in India.
And this is the same reason, we suggest you to so a job first, get experience, and then decide if you want to opt for higher studies. Good luck!
