In my opinion LPU is the right option to pursue LLB programme. Approved by Bar Council of India, LPUs School of Law is one of the premier Law institutes in the country. Outstanding features of the School include the technology and research focus at both UG and PG level and numerous exposures to Mooting sessions and competitions to bring greater rigor to litigation skills of graduates and prepare them for a broader range of global professional careers. The students are groomed to hit the ground running with rigorous practical exposure in drafting, mock trials and activities like crime scene investigation, discussions and debates etc. Besides, the School undertakes meticulous planning of internships with Judicial Officers, prominent legal practitioners, law firms and Commissions like Human Rights, Women, Child and Information Commission etc. The School organizes international conferences and interactions with acclaimed law practitioners to broaden the horizon of students and to familiarize them with the emerging legal developments. LPU is aimed at targeting students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. Creation of well trained and dedicated professionals in legal framework. NIRF ranking by Ministry of Higher Education Government of India has ranked LPU 13th amongst all government and private institutes of India. LPUs School of Law distinguishes itself by profound research orientation through online access to library resources and research tools. As a consequence, all students of UG and PG programs have the distinction of publishing papers in peer-reviewed and UGC care-listed journals. The faculty and students have also been able to create respectable intellectual property in terms of copyrights and patents. Apart from this university also provides numerous scholarships which helps students to overcome monetary constraints. I hope the above description will help you in making right decision.

A career in law is a mission subsequently followed by recognition. This noble career not only brings name and fame but also brings forth promising returns in terms of finances. Students opting for the law as a career have the option of doing a three-year law course after graduation in any discipline or a 5 years’ course after 12th class.  In India, the Courses in law are regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

NLU's are by far the best law colleges in India but following colleges are also worth considering if your are looking for law courses:
