Dear student,

Don't mind us being so blunt, but 47% in PCM in Class 12 is really low. We suggest that you look at other course options as per your interest and skill set. See, the thing is, if you have not been able to make sense of Maths, Physics & Chemistry at Class 12 level, then chances are, that further on, if you carry on with the same subjects that is not your strongest link, you may not be able to excel. And in today's cut-throat market, being mediocre does not pay.

It also means that perhaps your skill and talents lie elsewhere. Assess yourself, see which subjects excite you and hold your interest. Try to analyse you are most happy studying what course/ pursuing whatever hobby. For eg., maybe you are good at sketching, then perhaps, you should look for a course on Animation. Or if you are really good with numbers, then maybe Statistics or Maths is what you should pursue. If you are interested in politics or love analysing the constitution or the world economic status, then maybe Political Science or Law is what you should look at.

See, it does not end at studying. If you choose the wrong profession, you will be stuck, doing the same thing that you don't even enjoy doing. What's the point? In a few years, you will become disinterested and it will show in your work, thus stallig any future career aspect. Instead, do what you love to do, make a career out it. You will not only excel at it, but will be happy doing something that you love! And chances of success will be much more.

You can seek help of a career counsellor to assess where your interests lie.

Coming to CSE colleges in India, you can probably apply to a private college. But understand, the fee in a private college is much more than a govt. college and admission is subject to clearance of engineering entrance exam marks like JEE, BITSAT, WBJEE, TCET etc.
