While there is no pre-requisite set  for you to pursue MBA, BBA is preferable. The subjects in BBA are same as what you will study in MBA so it can lay the foundation for MBA.

Having said that, students from all streams apply for MBA. Just remember, you need to be proficient in logical reasoning skills and analytical skills to clear exams like CAT, MAT, SNAP, IRMA, IIFT, XAT, CMAT, MH-CET, IBSAT, NMAT, MICA etc
