First of all, you need to clear the minimum eligibility criteria to pursue a course in Marine Engineering. Some of them include:

• Class 12 or Inter pass with minimum 60% marks from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry & Maths as mandatory 
• The age of the student should between 17 - 25 years
• Some colleges even ask for at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII
