Lovely Professional University (LPU) places a strong emphasis on character development, discipline, and leadership skills in young individuals through its National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit. This commitment is rooted in the understanding that education goes beyond academics and extends to personal growth and holistic development. LPU offers students the valuable opportunity to become a part of the NCC, with options to join the army, navy, or air wing. Joining the NCC not only instills discipline but also imparts vital life skills that are essential for personal and professional success. Through specialized training programs, participants acquire not only military knowledge but also enhanced physical fitness and a deeper sense of patriotism, fostering a well-rounded growth experience. LPU's NCC unit operates through two distinct wings, the Air Wing and the Army Wing, each geared toward preparing students who aspire to join the Indian Army. These wings provide a structured and rigorous training environment where students can hone their skills and readiness for potential military careers. To get involved with the NCC at LPU, students can reach out to the Student Welfare Wing or visit Block 13 on campus, making it easy for them to explore this enriching extracurricular avenue. I hope you find this information helpful.
