Dear student,

A course in BBA & in B. Sc in Agriculture is not comparable as one is a business management course, while the other is a Science course. If it has to come down to which one to choose, it will really depend on your interest in the kind of career you want to pursue, and of course, your skill-set.

If you choose to study Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA), you will study about fundamental education in business and management principles. The subjects under BBA will primarily include International Business, Real Estate, Computer Information Systems, Finance, and/ or Accounting. Post your BBA degree, you can apply for Masters in Commerce (M. Com) or opt to do an MBA/ PGDM. The advantage here will be that you will be already prepared with the foundation of business administration due to your BBA. So MBA may be a little smooth for you.

  • Class 12 pass from a recognized board of education with minimum 40% marks
  • English should have been one of the subjects in Class 12
  • General age bar is a minimum of 17 years and a maximum 22 years

Career Prospects after BBA:

Doing BBA will enable you to get entry-level jobs in corporations. Your work will include a lot of backend work, and providing support services to your seniors. To be successful in the field of business management, you will need to do an MBA and broaden your growth prospects. Some of the popular jobs after BBA include:

  • Assistant Manager
  • Research Assistant
