LPU offer various programs related to computers & software such as Computer applications, Computer science & engineering (btech), Btech IT. Bsc it etc. Its upto you now which program you want to enrol in. Moreover, every program have different eligibility parameters, you can take admission as per the eligiblity. LPU offers diploma, Graduation, Post graduation & phD programs. As you have not mentioned your qualification, you can persue diploma in Computer science & engineering or IT, after 12th you can go for Btech CSE, Btech IT, BCA, Bsc it and same disciplines continue further. If you meet the requirements, it's easy to get into LPU engineering program. In order to be accepted, you need to have at least 60% marks in your 12th class, with mandatory subjects being English, Maths, and Physics. In addition, you must meet the requirements to take the LPUNEST exam given by LPU. If you haven't learned English in school, you need to show that your classes were taught in English. As per the present guidelines of the university, for admission to B.Tech. CSE, the candidate should have 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) and has to qualify LPUNEST and counseling. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. LPUNEST provides an opportunity to applicants who could not perform well in the qualifying examination owing to various personal, academic or procedure-specific reasons and is therefore unable to derive the benefit of the scholarship scheme of the university. To take admission your LPUNEST score must be more than the set qualifying marks at that time and to avail scholarship, it should be more than the cut-off. LPUNEST Cutoff is the minimum marks applicants need to attain for admission at LPU. The cutoff is dependent on the number of candidates, number of vacant seats, and marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam cutoff of last year.

The eligibility criteria are as follows for CSE: You should be pass with 60% marks in 10+2. Check out the full eligibility on the official website. It would also be nice if you qualify for LPU NEST which is the scholarship test provided by LPU. LPU NEST is a great examination. LPU NEST is a National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programs in Lovely Professional University. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPUNEST for all the programmes. LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Eligibility & Entrance Test) is a National Level test conducted by LPU in Online Proctored mode this year for Schedule 2. Eligibility criteria for B.Tech. CSE program is as follows, 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST valid score card Cost of LPUNEST Application kit (For Admission 2021):- With soft copy of Kit - Rs. 1000 (Male) ; Rs. 500 for Female students With hard copy of Kit - Rs. 1500 (Male) ; Rs. 1000 for Female students Students need to register themselves in the online portal of LPU (https://admission.lpu.in/) & then apply online for the LPUNEST examination. Admission process is already been started in Lovely Professional University for the current academic Year. LPUNEST Schedule 2 is presently active. This is Remotely Proctored test only. LPUNEST schedule 2 Examination: Online Registration Starts on 1-Apr-21 onwards, Last date is 30-Apr-21. In my opinion, one should not wait for the last date & last moment as you may not get the desired schedule and date for the exam. One of my friend studied CSE from LPU told that this year the eligibility due to COVID-19 is relaxed and is currently kept as 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPUNEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPUNEST. Computer Science Engineering Programmes of LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The stress is laid on developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students.The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. It is worth mentioning that LPU offers department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms. In addition to this, students are exposed too the fields like cloud computing, IoT, data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data and many more. If not then you can apply for LPUNEST schedule 2 prior to 3 rd MAY 2020, exam dates are yet to announced. It is already extended till the further instructions from government due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now coming to the requirements means Eligibility Criteria : Candidate should have minimum 60% marks aggregate in 12th grade and LPUNEST must be qualified (subject to merit). What else is require...? Dear student,

If you ae interested in becoming a Software Engineer, you will need to do a B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering. For this, you will have to give one or some of the various engineering entrance exams in India like JEE, BITS, VITEEE etc. 

To be eligible for the engineering entrance exams, you should have studied Science in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognised board. Once you get your rank (of the entrance exams) then depending on your rank, you will need to attend the Counselling Process to know which colleges you are eligible to apply at. Once you take your pick, then you can take admission in the best B. Tech college in India as per your capability & interest. Good luck!
