There is no scholarship on caste, scholarship on merit only, if you have more than 70% in your intermediate exam then you will get scholarship in LPU. Many students get scholarship in LPU according to their +2 Percentages and their Score in LPU-NEST exam.it also provides scholarships to the toppers of the corresponding years in University LPU offers varied scholarship schemes which depends upon the course the candidate is opting for. 1. Scholarship: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and Graduation for Postgraduate Programmes LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) Certain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT etc.) Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards Scholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D., Scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards 2. Financial Aid Financial Aid Need Based Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents Financial Aid to Orphans Financial Aid to Persons with Certain Disability Hence , while availing any of the above categories of scholarship the required set of documents needs to be submitted as well.

These are the scholarships the university offers. LPUNEST, Marks based (for previous two qualifying Exams), Performance in other National Level Entrance tests, Performance in Sports, Performance in Cultural and Co-curricular Activities. Social Service, R&D and Bravery Activities. Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board, LPUNEST Study Grant Financial Aid : for Defense /CAPF and their dependents, Orphan Candidates, Persons with certain disabilities, Minorities, Transgender, Non Traditional student, Need Based-Financial Aid, EWS scholarship for those whose family income is less than 5 lacs, Single girl child, Single Mother and Tibetan students studying in CTA schools and Vidya Bharti Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sansthan. LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to Indian resident orphan students whose both parents are dead. The university gives scholarships based on a first come first serve basis to 10 applicants. The candidate having a benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of a full fee waiver. However, the LPU committee scrutinises the case. LPU offers exclusive Scholarship schemes for Tibetan Students studying in CTA (Central Tibetan Administration) Schools and Students studying in different schools managed by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan where based on tests conducted in schools of the concerned organisation and/or recommendation of the concerned authority of the organisation, certain students may be offered full tuition fee waiver.

The scholarship that you get will vary from college to college. Some colleges follow the Government of India guidelines for scholarships awarded to OBC candidates. However, other colleges also offer additional scholarships other than the government ones depending on your performance in college or score in the entrance exam.
