Dear student,

Don't get disheartened. CAT is not the ned of the world. Tell us, did you take any other MBA entrance exam besides CAT? What was your score there?

Option I:

If you have given MBA exams besides CAT, then you can wait for their results to come out as well. If you have scored well in any of those exams, then you can look for a good institute basis their scores.

Option II:

There are many private colleges that give admission in MBA courses without any exam score. However, since they are private colleges, you will need to check their affiliation, reputation or placement history before taking a decision. Also remember, fee structure of these colleges might be a little on the higher side (compared to govt institutes, and depending upon the location of these colleges).

Option III:

If your score in other exams are not too good either, then maybe, you should drop the idea of doing an MBA and focus on other fields/ subjects. Having an MBA degree is good, but only if you manage to do it from a reputed & established institute. The supply of MBA graduates compared to the demand in the industry is too much. As a result of which, there are people who are still struggling. Maybe you can look at career options where the demand is high and supply is less.

If you tell us your educational background, we will be able to suggest you better. Or if you want to speak to a career counsellor, you can call on 0141-3990699 OR +91 9541724834 to speak to a career counsellor for free.

Option IV:

If you have set your mind on doing MBA, then you could drop a year, prepare seriously for MBA, join a coaching institute and appear for CAT or other MBA entrance exams in India again in 2017.

Always remember, you should do what your gut tells you to do.
