After studying, seed science and technology programme, you can apply in different government agricultural organisations such as National Seed Corporation (NSC), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and State Farms Corporation of India Ltd. (SFCI) etc. For these government sector jobs, you will have to clear competitive examinations conducted by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board.
Some private research organisations also look for seed science specialists for various research activities. Popular seed companies include Century, Syngenta, Namdhari etc.
Setting up own agricultural clinics, commercial nurseries etc. or applying for various lecturer jobs at academic institutions are also options that you can pursue after completing your studies.
