Well, if I talk about BSc Agriculture at LPU, before proceeding I want to assert that LPU is the first private university in India that has got the ICAR accreditation which is a huge milestone that LPU has got in Science field. Undoubtedly, studying BSc agriculture in LPU will give an upper edge to the students because of robust curriculum and the space area which they provide for agricultural practises. Further, LPU also provides numerous scholarships and benefits of it can be availed by students. As I am an alumnus of LPU from science background I, have visited the greenhouse and agricultural fields, which I must say are very vast and the on-going projects are significant and impactful. LPU also offers various career pathways and depending upon students’ calibre the guidance is provided accordingly. In summation I would strongly recommend LPU for pursuing BSc agriculture as LPU moulds each person in such a way so that one can fit in this competitive world. BSc in agriculture is one of the best course in LPU. One of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, SYNGENTA INDIA LTD, WIPRO LIMITED, and many other firms. The average package is 3.27 LPA and the maximum is 5.6 LPA. Thanks

One thing to remember before enrolling in such a course is that the university we choose must provide us with in-depth and practical understanding of the key courses, must adapt to new technologies quickly, and the university's environment must be healthy and clean, all of which LPU excels at. LPU is the first private university in India to receive ICAR accreditation. LPU School of Agriculture received one of the top grades among the eight universities reviewed at the ICAR's 22nd Board Meeting. LPU places a strong emphasis on excellent education, and all of its professors are highly competent and approachable. Students gain a real-time grasp of conventional agriculture processes and successful knowledge distribution to farmers through the Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE) programme. Field trips to nearby farms, orchards, and nurseries are done to provide a fundamental grasp of emerging problems and technology in agriculture. In addition to the main curriculum, the course includes topics such as communication and soft skills to help students improve their personality and employability. Now, these are just a few of LPU's benefits, but there is a lot more to enjoy about LPU, such as its infrastructure, study atmosphere, placements, cultural programmes, and so on. I can confidently state that LPU is worth attending.

Among all 8 institutions evaluated at ICAR’s 22nd Board Meeting, LPU School of Agriculture was approved for accreditation with one of the highest ratings. LPU focuses on quality education a lot and all the professors of LPU are highly qualified and friendly, LPU also focuses a lot on practical knowledge and agriculture students of LPU has to go through various practical tasks and projects which makes it very easy to understand the concepts and develop a deep knowledge of the subjects. Through the Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE) program the students develop a real-time understanding of conventional agriculture methods and effective dissemination of knowledge to the farmers. In order to provide a basic understanding of emerging problems and technologies involved in agriculture, field visits are conducted to neighboring farms, orchards, and nurseries In addition to core curricula, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Now, these were just some of the few advantages of LPU but there is much more good to say about LPU like its infrastructure, study environment, placements, cultural programs, and whatnot, I can definitely say that LPU would be worth joining. LPU becomes the first Private University to be granted ICAR Accreditation by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Apart from this, there are so many reasons to join LPU. Students learning healthy, sustainable organic farming practices practically on the campus. LPU’s Department of Agriculture is venturing production and promotion of organic farming yields on its campus. Hundreds of its B Sc Agriculture (Hons) students have engaged themselves to learn healthy, sustainable organic farming practices through their teachers at the University. Students from Agriculture department developed Experiment with Hydroponics And it is a novel technology in which the plants are grown in an artificial environment without soil. Various ensemble approaches like hydroponics, aquaponics and aeroponics are utilized. The growth rate of a hydroponic plant is 30 to 50 percent faster than a soil plant, grown under the same conditions. LPU students have undertaken aquaponic project to explore its sustainability and increasing awareness of this food production system. Aquaponics, a combination of aquaculture (fish farming) and hydroponics (soilless plant farming), uses fish wastewater as a resource, circulating it through hydroponic grow beds where plants take up its nutrients. The filtered water is then recycled back through the fish tanks. In addition to this, LPU Campus is quite huge in all aspects, it has an excellent infrastructure, teaching facilities, experienced faculties and a target to produce industry-ready knowledgeable students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every one of the eligible students to secure good placements and companies in large number visit the campus for on-campus recruitment. For more details, you may refer to the LPU website.

LPU is well known for its B.Sc(Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified, and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held. If a faculty wants a leave, either the makeup lectures are planned, or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream, as most of the work is fieldwork, every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks under the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement-oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I want to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms.

Actually my cousin has completed his degree from LPU .The most significant thing which should be emphasized is that LPU is the first private university which has been approved by ICAR.I along with my cousins had visited the fields, labs. In order to infuse understanding on emerging problems and technologies involved in agriculture field visits are conducted to neighbouring farms, orchards and nurseries. Not only subject related education is imparted but also the professional enhancement is added by the university through the different courses like soft skills and communication skills. Major Highlights of the programme that I would be highlighting over here are as follows: a) The course would impart knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts and techniques of maintaining and enhancing soil fertility, crop production, crop management, crop improvement, biodiversity and sustainability of agriculture worldwide. b) The course would develop the ability to know farming practices and their scope to improve in the rural areas and the environments. c) It would help in applying the knowledge of basic science through Agricultural microbiology, Plant biochemistry and Biotechnology. d) It will focus on application of knowledge of Agri-business management and finance to develop profitable agricultural system. e) 19.25 LPA PLACEMENT OFFERED IN PANDEMIC BY DE SHAW LPU students have got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute.

Keeping in sink with the concept I found LPU course curriculum very employable. It believes in building expertise through well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Creating professionals to tackle the dogma from seed to stomach. It runs B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Programme ie for 4 years. LPU is a first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (Govt. of India). LPU School of Agriculture has been granted accreditation by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, making it the first and only private University in the country to receive the accreditation. LPU got this accreditation last year (2018). All the courses that run at undergraduate and post graduate level are all accredited by ICAR. It counts B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture, M.Sc Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, an autonomous body responsible for coordinating agricultural education and research in India. However we must learn one thing that a B.Sc Degree is just an elementary degree. In order to determine to which tangent of career we would like to pursue we need to first find the minimum qualification pre requisite. Post your graduation you can always sit for the following few government exams:- UPSC - Indian Forest Services (IFS) Staff Selection Commission (SSC) IBPS Specialist Officer (AO) Food Corporation of India (FCI) NABAARD

LPU is the first private University in India which is ICAR accredited by ICAR. There are some private colleges in Maharashtra also which you can admission through payment as far i listened they are not up to mark. When coming to facultys in LPU most of the faculty will be PhD candidates they are good at teaching and very helpful for the students. Unlike govt universitys faculty's cannot skip the lectures in Lpu . At the end of the semester faculty need to cover the skipped lectures too by conducting extra makeup classes. Research work is not upto mark in Lpu as lpu started Agriculture recently as BSC Agriculture concerned it won't effect much. Placements - LPU is trying to get placements . companies visited are Tata Rallis, NCDEX, dhanuka ,smur Agro, pragya, Reliance etc , UPL But don't come to LPU expecting placements not everyone will get placed this is the same scenario in govt universitys also. But lpu trains you for placements by conducting placement classes. It will train your for Group discussions and personal interview and will focus on improving you communication skills and reducing your state fear which most govt also doesn't not teach like Lpu. Lpu also conducts classes for the students who want to prepare for masters from 3rd year onwards. In Lpu you can do internships ,job from final year onwards unlike other govt universitys .for govt universitys you are not allowed from 4th year. You can do job/ internship from 4th year itself. Diversity will be more in Lpu you can make friends from almost all states and few countries too. When diversity is concerned no university in India can beat LPU. In future we are expecting lpu will get more placements due to more diversity which the company recruiters need. Lab and filed work is also good. There are student organization in Agriculture also AGRINIANS and agros you can also join in it for developing your skills. LPU is just like the more reap the more you get. Good luck!

LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval.LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so.On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA(Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that.Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. Agriculture is a growing sector in the present times and emerging as a field of opportunities. Agriculture is the right career option for the future of development. Agriculture is one of the most diversified fields than ever before, offering several jobs and self-employment opportunities to agriculture students. Agricultural technology is not only advancing at a fast pace but also creating new job opportunities for agriculture students BSc. (Hons)Agriculture - Minimum expected cutoff is 60%. in 10+2 with English, physics, maths/biology/forestry+LPUNest MSc.(hons)Agriculture - 60% inBSc.Agriculture(Hons) 4 year degree +LPUNest. One of my cousin is currently doing BSc.(hons) Agriculture in LPU and he told me that the cutoff for honours programs are sightly higher then the rest of the courses. the cutoff is more than 40% as compared to 30% for the other programs. Moreover, this cutoff keeps on changing every year

LPU is one of the best choice for agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package. LPUNEST is not compulsory for eligibility you can attempt it to avail scholarship.

B.Sc Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days, LPU is the first university to get the ICAR accreditation for agriculture courses. This is the main reason why students are preferring LPU over other universities. I have done my Engineering from LPU, and during my graduation I had a room mate who was enrolled in this course. He even got campus placement and was also selected for some internship at Nestle during her course. Major points as shared by him and as per my knowledge for Agriculture course are : LPU lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture. The future of agriculture lies with a faith born of deeds. Students are engaged towards evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE Program to build interpersonal skills. My Brother is pursuing B.Sc (Hons)agriculture from Lovey Professional university and he is satisfied with academics, curriculum, placements, expoure etc.If you are looking for quality education and good placements along with learned faculty work hard on you to get you placed in the best of the companies, then LPU is the place for you to go for. LPU’s school of Agriculture has ICAR approval. Students who have passed out from LPU have got jobs in various departments and states. LPU has made a good name for itself in a short span of time by working hard for its students in terms of education, faculty, placements, infrastructure, etc. It works for the overall development of its students. Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects etc along with class room teaching. The university has made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories. LPU focuses on quality education a lot and all the professors of LPU are highly qualified and friendly, LPU also focuses a lot on practical knowledge and agriculture students of LPU has to go through various such practical tasks and projects which makes it very easy to understand the concepts and develop a deep knowledge of the subjects. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. Through the Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE) program the students develop a real-time understanding of conventional agriculture methods and effective dissemination of knowledge to the farmers. LPU trains you for placements by conducting placement classes. It will train your for Group discussions and personal interview and will focus on improving you communication skills and reducing your state fear which most of the colleges do not teach you. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. In order to provide a basic understanding of emerging problems and technologies involved in agriculture, field visits are conducted to neighboring farms, orchards, and nurseries Now, these were just some of the few advantages of LPU but there is much more good to say about LPU like it’s infrastructure, study environment, placements, cultural programs and what not, I can definitely say that LPU would be worth joining.
