Hi Yuvraj,

In order to become an aeronautical engineer, you will have to opt for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 11th. You must start preparing for Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) as admissions to all engineering colleges is done on the basis of JEE score.

There are various colleges that offer aeronautical engineering course and the fee varies from college to college. Government colleges offer relatively cheaper courses than private engineering colleges. You can expect the fee of the entire course to be from 5 lakh to 15 lakh depending on the college that you are taking admission in.

Following are some colleges that offer Aeronautical Engineering:

Hello Mitang,

SIBM Hyderabad takes admission on the basis of SNAP score. It is difficult to pinpoint the cutoff of the college as it varies each and also depends on the programme that you are applying for. However, you can expect the cutoff to be somewhere between 80 to 95 percentile for general candidates to take admission in SIBM Hyderabad.

You should keep in mind that the cutoff may fall or rise depending upon the level of difficulty of the exam and the number of students that have applied to the institute.

All the best!!
