sports : is there is any sports quota?

Dear aspirant ...... LPU offers scholarship to the students with outstanding sports achievements at national/International level. The benefits may include Full Programme Fee waiver (Including Examination Fee), and Free Stay in a four-seater room (Air Cooled Room) in hostel Or Free Transport Facility (if residential facility is not availed) depending upon the achievement of the student. For candidates with sports acheivements, applicants need to submit their achievement documents through email to admission@lpu.co.in and evaluation of the submitted documents is done by the scholarship panel. But there is no relaxation in the eligibility criteria on the basis of sports. good luck

Yes, LPU offers international, national, and state-level sports scholarships to outstanding students with a sporting background.The entire Lovely Professional University (LPU) campus spreads over 600 acres in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar and houses over 47,579 students. There are various sports facilities available on the campus and the university has big playgrounds which include badminton courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, handball courts, squash courts, archery grounds, hockey grounds, boxing rings, skating zone, shooting range, etc. The university also has hostel facilities and these hostel facilities can be availed by the students. In-house laundry, mess, transport facility, medical assistance, indoor stadium sports facility, storeyed library, gym are the facilities available in the LPU hostels.

At LPU a sports person can complete his/her study with upto 100% scholarship opportunity in terms of tuition fee & Hostel Fee. There is an unbeatable placement record by the University. Additionally LPU considers a student's career interest / pathway like Corporate Job, Government Job, Higher studies, Entrepreneurship.
