Hi there, the admission for next academic session in LPU is going on. You can register yourself, appear for LPUNEST and ensure your admission by qualifying it and fulfilling the eligibility conditions. The MCA program aims at professionally grooming the students so that they can flourish in the corporate IT Sector. MCA is more focused on the practical implementation of various computing aspects such as programming, databases, networking, web development, etc. The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years OR B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. In case a student has not studied computer as a subject in graduation, then he/she shall have to go through bridge/ additional courses (subjects) which may be scheduled before the commencement of classes or along with the regular classes. Students need not pay any additional amount for bridge/ additional courses. Clearing LPUNEST is a must. LPU's School of Computer Application is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCOM.
