Chechen State University was founded on 07th February 1938 as Chechen-Ingush Teaching Institute that focused on preparatory pedagogical courses with a 2-year study cycle in the Grozny city which is the capital of the Russian Federations Republic of Chechnya. It was renamed the Chechen State University in the year 1995 and is currently one of the best medical universities in Russia to pursue MBBS from.
