Selection Criteria in Navy

Process to Become Engineer in Navy
Engineers recruited through short commission works on a temporary basis. Candidates have to undergo 4 weeks training in naval academy after selection.
Engineers Under Short Commission
Similar to short commission, this category of employment is also for a temporary term. Candidates must secure 50% in engineering courses and get B grade in NCC.
NCC Special Entry Scheme
Candidates joining under graduate special entry are allotted any of the battalion of navy after completing 49 weeks training. Securing passing marks in engineering courses is vital.
Graduate Special Entry
As the name suggests, it will be a permanent employment. Aspirants need to score 60% in their engineering field to secure a job in the Indian navy.
