4. Negative Marks- 1/3rd marks deduction for the wrong answer
UPSC IES Prelims Paper 1 Exam Pattern

2. Exam Duration- 3 hours
3. Maximum Marks- 300
4. Marking Scheme: 2 marks for correct answer and ⅓ marks deducted for wrong attempt

1. UPSC IES or ESE 2023 Prelims- 500 Marks
2. UPSC IES or ESE 2023 Mains- 600 Marks
