The PTE Cutoff is the minimum score an applicant must achieve to be admitted to the university of their choice. PTE cutoff score ranges from 10 to 90 points, with 10 being the lowest and 90 being the highest. As PTE is a computerised adaptive test, marks are given depending on the number of correct responses and vice-versa. The PTE exam measures the candidate’s overall English language proficiency across speaking, reading, and writing sections as well as their comprehension of verbal commands.

PTE cutoff scores could vary from one university to another as well as the selection of courses. While certain universities may require a higher PTE score, other colleges may be flexible with an average PTE score.
