Mumbai University is yet to declare the final year results of bachelor’s degree programs like B.Com. BA, B.Sc. BMS, BMM. B.Sc IT, BAF, and professional undergraduate (UG) courses. The results are expected to be released by the end of July.
While the delay in the declaration of final year results is unavoidable due to various restrictions imposed by the State Government amidst the rising cases of COVID-19, it has majorly impacted students who wished to start their course in August/September 2021 at universities abroad.

Many students who have received offer letters from universities abroad argue that they are already facing various challenges due to border restrictions as well as vaccination delay. Now, the postponment of exam results has given them another reason to worry about their admissions getting cancelled for the August-September 2021 intake if they fail to submit their marksheets on time.
On this note, Vinod Patil, director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation of MU said that the examination staff are unable to commute by local train service in Mumbai due to the restrictions imposed by the state government. This is the reason behind the entire process getting delayed, he said.
Meanwhile, the university is providing confidential results and letters to students planning to study abroad, which will help them secure their seats in universities abroad, Patil added. He also assured students that the results of major final-year examinations will be declared soon.
