FT Global MBA Ranking 2021: Insead, London Business School, University of Chicago in Top 10

Five MBA Colleges in India have been named top Business Schools in the world alongside Insead, London Business School and University of Chicago, Booth, who have taken the top 3 spots respectively, in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2021.

 

An honourable and proud for a few business schools in India comes as the Financial Times Global MBA rankings which mention the top 100 MBA institutes in the world. Among the top 100 MBA institutes in the world, 5 India B-Schools have taken up spots in the prestigious ranking list.

FT Global MBA Ranks 2021: Top Business Schools in the World

Out of all the thousands of MBA schools in the world, the top 10 business schools in the world are among the most prestigious schools as well. Insead, which is located in France and Singapore took the first spot in FT’s list for the top MBA schools in the world. Meanwhile, London Busines School and the University of Chicago, Booth took the 2nd and 3rd spots respectively. Here are the top 10 Business Schools in the World as per Financial Times Global MBA ranks.

While European MBA institutions took a number of spots, US MBA Colleges and Universities were able to bag 9 spots within the top 20 spots of the FT Global MBA Ranks 2021. However the mention of Indian B-Schools within the top 100 Business Schools in the world, according to Financial Times is a huge achievement for the Indian Education System and the B-Schools as well.

Taking the Best B-School tag in India is the Indian School of Business (ISB), while the other spots have taken up by the Indian Institutes of Management or IIMs as popularly recognised. The Indian School of Business was able to earn the 23rd spot in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking list while 3 IIMs took up spots in the top 50 positions, except for IIM Indore.

FT Global MBA Ranks 2021: Top Business Schools in India

As per the 2021 list released by Financial Times for the top B-Schools in India, the following institutions took up the respective positions.

  • 23rd Rank - Indian School of Business

  • 35th Rank - Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore

  • 44th Rank - Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta

  • 48th Rank - Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad

  • 94th Rank - Indian Institute of Management, Indore

Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2021 was compiled considering a number of parameters and factors including salaries of the alumni members, three years after graduation, along with the value for money, the quality of research and much more. Choosing to miss out on this year’s action were Harvard, Stanford and Wharton.
