Students might be able to travel to the United Kingdom in September, and Canada has started a new visa application programme, letting consultancies start processing visa applications from Indian students.

Immigration consultancies in India have now started to revive after the resumption of visa processing and countries allowing students to enrol in online programmes amid the global pandemic. As mentioned by immigration experts, more than 90% of universities in Canada will shift to online teaching in September 2020.

Students might be able to travel to the United Kingdom in September as the country has put the required travel guidelines in place. However, students wishing to study in Canada will be able to travel only in January 2021.

It has been observed that more students are likely to prefer January 2021 intake to September 2020 intake. Most study abroad aspirants do not want to take online classes and only those who could not travel due to the lockdown are currently applying for the September intake. Since July, various consultancies have mentioned that they have received more applications for Canada and fewer for Australia and the UK.
