Faculty of Fine Arts of Lucknow University (LU) has joined hands withBath Spa University in theUK and has formalised an alliance to conduct activities and events which will help in offering a better experience and opportunities for the students of the Faculty.
LU had appointed Prof. Rajan Shripad Fulari as the liaison officer for this alliance. He arranged a virtual meeting which was attended by ProfessorAlok Kumar Rai (Vice-Chancellor) and ProfessorAlok Kumar Kushwaha (Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts) from LU and Daniel Allen, Roger Clarke and Kristin Doern from Bath Spa University.

Professor Fulari had proposed varied activities and events which could form the base of the alliance and also suggested the mapping of a successful alliance.
In order to strengthen the initiative, ProfessorKushwaha introduced the facultys perspective towards Fine Artsand its historical and contemporary connection. This discussion was furthered with contributions made by the faculty towards contemporary Indian Art.
Both the institutions have participated in the alliance formalising process actively and plan to hold initial events virtually and in accordance with Covid-19 and social distancing norms.
