The SAT tests are generally conducted in both online and offline mode after the emergence of COVID-19. However, recently, many test centres opened up in India after things were turning normal. So, the fee for the SAT examination is INR 7,700, the amount also includes regional fees. The SAT Subject Test fee is INR 1,930 plus registration charges of INR 1,633 for each subject, along with a regional fee for India of INR 3,735.
Qualifying for the SAT exam opens opportunities for undergraduate programmes at universities in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands and the United Kingdom for study abroad aspirants. International students can also apply for a scholarship based on their SAT scores. Additionally, there is no age limit to taking the SAT exam, so candidates can take it anytime they want.

Discussed below are the criteria to check your eligibility for the SAT exam fee waiver in 2022:
Students who are pursuing their 11th or 12th grade in the United States or US territories are eligible for SAT fee waiver. Students who are US citizens, but are residing outside the country, can also get a fee waiver.
SAT scores are valid for five years. However, candidates do not prefer using the scores for so long and rather take new tests and apply to their dream colleges.
