International students planning to study in Italy in the first cycle, single cycle or second cycle programmes for the 2021-22 academic year can now apply for study grants and tuition fee waivers based on SAT, ACT or TOCL test scores.
The University of Bologna, Italy has invited eligible international students to apply for the first cycle, single cycle or second cycle programmes for the 2021-22 academic year in order to be considered for study grants and tuition fee waivers.
The study grants will award €11,000 gross plus tuition fee waivers to the selected students on the basis of SAT or GRE scores along with some TOLC tests for one academic year.
Only those international students who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for the study grants and tuition fee waivers offered by the University of Bologna, Italy:
Should have a valid qualification of a chosen degree programme, issued by an education provider outside Italy. However, students with a diploma from an Italian school outside Italy can apply.
Should take one of the below-mentioned tests within the application deadline:
- For First or Single Cycle Degree Programme applicants- SAT and/or TOCL test
- For Second Cycle Degree Programme applicants- GRE test
Must be below 30 years of age until the application deadline.

All eligible applicants should apply directly to the university by logging into Studenti Online.
Scores need to be sent to the university, selecting the codes 7850 for the GRE and 6993 for the SAT.
It is to be noted that these study grants and tuition fee waivers will be assigned until the grants and entire budget are used up. Also, students can avail both the benefits.
