Applications have been invited by the University Grants Commission from all Indian students interested in applying for the Bilateral State Scholarships in Hungary for the 2021-2022 academic year.
The applicants who are selected will have the opportunity to enrol in free courses while also receiving a stipend. As per sources, the stipend may be completed by a supplement or and accommodation, etc. according to the type of scholarship awarded. The Type of scholarship will also dictate the sponsor of the scholarship, for instance, the stipend may be paid by the institution receiving the candidate, or by Tempus Public Foundation or by the country responsible for sending the candidate.
The UGC does not hold any financial liability for the scholarships. The entire duration for the scholarships can also range between 3 days to 36 months.
Type of Bilateral State Scholarships in Hungary
Here are some of the different types of scholarships that are available.

Semester or Partials studies in Bachelors / Masters / Doctoral

Duration will range between 3 - 10 months.

Full Degree Bachelors/Masters/Doctoral Studies.

Duration will be at 36 months for Bachelors, 24 Months for Masters and 36 Months for Doctoral studies.

Short or Long-term study visits

Duration will range between 3 days to 10 months.

The duration shall last between 2 to 4 weeks.

How to Apply for Bilateral State Scholarships in Hungary

About Higher Education in Hungary
Hungary, like other EU states, follows the standards dictated by the Bologna Process. In other words, candidates aspiring to study a Masters must possess a valid bachelors degree. Meanwhile, those wishing to study a BA degree are required to carry a valid Language Proficiency certificate, diplomas, and other valid documentation, specified by the programme.
