Every year thousands of Indian students go to Ukraine to study medicine for the affordability of the course and less competition as compared to India. However, the untoward situation forced them to abandon their studies and return to India.

Members of the Parents Association of Ukraine MBBS Students (PAUMS) at Jantar Mantar are expected to be joined by 500 MBBS students and their parents. The parents lament that the future of their children is in jeopardy as they had to return leaving their education midway due to the conflict.
