Tamil Nadu 12th Exam Pattern 2022-23: The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education is the authority that conducts the class 12th board exam every year. The Tamil Nadu Class 12 Date Sheet 2023is out now. In order to prepare well for the exam, the board also releases the Tamil Nadu 12th Exam Pattern 2022-23 which provides a blueprint for the question papers. Changes Introduced in Tamil Nadu 12th Exam Pattern
The Tamil Nadu board releases the exam pattern for class 12th board exam based on the latest academic requirements. Keeping in view the changes brought by CBSE and ICSE boards, the Tamil Nadu board has also reduced the syllabus for current year by 30%. Not only this but the board has also introduced objective type questions this year in the question paper. The board has divided the overall pattern into two parts: internal assessment and theory paper. The internal assessment will constitute of 20% weightage in the exam. The final score for the exam will be calculated on the basis of theory exam + internal assessment exam.

Tamil Nadu board is introducing these changes to help the students manage their studies and stress for exams. The board also targets to provide a continuous assessment to the students through internal assessment criteria which will help to test the application and knowledge skills of the students.

It is important for the candidates to learn about the Tamil Nadu 12th Exam Pattern 2022-23 so that they can score well in the exam. Listed below are some of the important points related to Tamil Nadu Board 12th Exam Pattern 2022-23:
- The exam will be conducted for a total of 3 hours duration.
- The total marks for the language papers will be 100.
- The marks for theory paper for subjects with practicals will be 70. The remaining 30 marks will be added for practicals.
- 80% weightage will be given for final exam whereas the remaining 20% weightage will be given for internal assessment.
- The qualifying marks for Tamil Nadu class 12th is 33 Marks in each subject and 33% aggregate.
