Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
The University is famous for its strong programmes in the area of Social Sciences and Arts. Other than Arts and Social Sciences, the Goldsmiths University of London offers quality education to its students in the field of Humanities, Entrepreneurial Business and Management and Computing. The Arts, Humanities, Computing, Social Sciences, Cultural Studies, Business and Management courses are offered under 18 different academic departments of the university. Student Diversity & Visiting Companies
The Goldsmiths University of London celebrates its diverse student population coming from different countries. For more than 200 years of existence of the university, generations of students have graduated and educated from Goldsmiths. International students’ percentage of the university i.e., 20 per cent is the result of its welcoming environment. The university encourages strong collaboration, bonding and loyalty among the staff and students. According to the National Student Survey for over the years, around 88% of students have declared that they are satisfied with the course.
The Goldsmiths University of London is following all the guidelines defined by the government as a precautionary measure. For the Spring term, the new guidelines have been set by the university which is as follows:
All face to face classes have been suspended and lectures will be delivered online, or they will be rescheduled.
Students who are yet to make their travel are encouraged to stay in their current until the face to face classes are commenced.
Various departments are reviewing their face-to-face teaching for Spring Term and all information related to classes will be communicated to students by the department.
The campus is open for access to the library, hall of residences and other students facilities and services.
The university is taking all measures to ensure mental health well being of students and has also introduced temporary changes to NHS COVID-19 testing on campus.
Goldsmiths International Scholarships are offered to international students enrolled in full-time postgraduate taught and Graduate Diploma programmes at the Goldsmiths University of London. A total of 35 scholarships are offered under this category.
The eligibility criteria to receive the scholarship is as follows:
The candidate must classify as an international student.
The candidates should be eligible to apply for master’s degree courses (except Design and Fine Arts programmes), graduate diploma (except Design), undergraduate courses (except Design, Fine Art and Fine Art Extension programmes) and International Foundation Certificate programmes (except Design) at the Goldsmiths University of London.
Candidates must also have an offer for the above-mentioned programmes.
Scholarship Value: Could be worth £2,000, £4,000 and £5,000

Commonwealth Scholarship is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and is offered to international students enrolled in one of the institutes in the UK. The eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship is as follows:
Candidates must belong to an eligible Commonwealth country (includes India).
Must be applying for master’s degree programmes at the university.
Must be unable to afford to study in the UK.
How to Apply?
Candidates can apply for this scholarship from the Commonwealth Scholarships(CSC) website. The deadline for nominating bodies to submit nominations to the CSC is 1 March 2021.
