Established in 1927, the University of Hull is a public research institution situated in England, United Kingdom. The university was first founded as University College Hull with just 39 students and 14 departments with all of them operating out of a single building. The university or the then University College Hull offered programmes in the field of Pure Sciences and Arts. Finally, the fourteenth-oldest university became Yorkshires third university as well as an independent institution in 1954. The university has been ranked 64th in the national university rankings 2021 by The Complete University Guide.
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
The University of Hull might have started with a humble beginning but today, it offers more than 2,000 courses to over 18,000 students. The undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at the University of Hull cover over 50 disciplines including Humanities, Arts, Education, Business, Sciences, Health and Social Sciences. All courses offered by the University of Hull are split between its two campuses. The main campus of the university is located near the Hull City Centre surrounded by scenic greenery. The other campus is situated in the seaside of Scarborough, which is an hours drive away from the city of York.

Covid-19 Response
At the University of Hull, the health, safety and wellbeing of its students, staff and visitors is the primary concern during these unprecedented times. It is working hard to ensure that students receive excellent teaching and support, whilst continuing to combat the novel coronavirus. The university is following the guidelines definedby the UK Government to restart the on-campus teaching. As permission is granted for full-on campus teaching, students will be able to return on campus at Hull University for the upcoming academic sessions.
For international students who wish to travel to the UK, different restrictions would apply depending on the country of origin. They would also have to participate in the universitys mass testing programme after self-isolating for ten days.
Campus facilities such as the library cafe, Brynmor Jones Library will remain open for students.
The Mass Testing Centre at the university will continue to offer Covid-19 tests for those returning to campus.
Winter 2021 graduation ceremonies are to be postponed until July 2021.
Visas of international students will not be affected if they are studying remotely (inside or outside the UK).

Must have achieved IELTS 6.5 overall, with 5.5 in every skill or its equivalent.
Must NOT have studied previously in the UK.
