Lancaster University was established in 1964 and it is a noteworthy name in the higher education scene in the UK. It is a public research university situated in Lancaster, Lancashire, England. COVID-19 Response
The autumn term at the Lancaster University commenced from October 2, 2020. With the prevailing COVID 19 situation and the urge to maintain safety precautions, the university is offering the teaching and research programmes in a different manner.
The space capacity of teaching has been reduced by offering a blend of online classes. Wherever possible, the classes are being conducted remotely.
The lab work and research are being conducted in small groups on the campus.
Students who are engaged in online delivery are interactive with their mentors and class fellow to ensure a healthy learning atmosphere.
The aim of Lancaster University is to ensure that students receive high-quality learning experience, academic support and they are looking forward to restarting the in-person teaching if the situations are normalised in coming days.

Lancaster University mentions that it has limited internal sources of financial aid available for international students. The university recommends that its students look for external means of financial aid offered by some British organizations and for loan providers in their home country.
However, there are some scholarships awarded by individual academic departments to international students enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate course of studies.
The department sets its own minimum requirements to grant scholarships and based on the application submitted for admission, the student is considered for a scholarship.
