The University of Huddersfield is a public university established in 1825. Named after the city it is located in, the university is known as a world-class centre of higher education in the UK. The university was named Times Higher Education University of the Year in 2013 and it enjoys a place in the 701-750 range in the 2020 Global Work Rankings compiled by QS Top Universities. Some other accolades earned by the university include being gold-rated by TEF, winning the Global Teaching Excellence Award etc.
