As per the Anna University admission process 2023, candidates are offered admission to the B.Tech programme through a single window counselling - TNEA. The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are considered for admission. For MBA and MCA one must obtain a valid score in TANCET and further take part in the counselling process. From the academic year 2023, Anna University admission to the M.E./M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan candidates have to appear for Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG), until 2022, TANCET scores for considered for admission.
At the UG level, Anna University UG admissions are offered for a full-time B.Trch programme in a variety of specialisations. The minimal requirement for admission is passing the 10+2 level exam, or its equivalent, in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates are shortlisted for Anna University B.Tech admission based on their 10+2 scores and participation in the TNEA counselling.
