Anna University Fees 2026
Anna University remains one of India’s most affordable top-ranked public universities. For 2025–26, regular B.E./B.Tech at CEG, MIT, and ACT campuses costs Tamil Nadu general category students just INR 32,000 grand total at admission (including one-time fees, deposits, and first-semester charges). First Graduate (TN) students pay INR 27,500–INR 32,500, while SC/ST/SCA candidates with family income below INR 2.5 lakh pay only INR 24,300 and receive full tuition waiver plus INR 20,000 annual scholarship.
Self-supporting programmes are INR 41,800 for general category. B.Arch/B.Plan at SAP Campus is INR 30,000 (regular) for TN general students. M.E./M.Tech (GATE regular) is INR 36,060 for the entire two-year course, non-GATE self-supporting INR 41,060. MBA and MCA full-course fees are INR 34,325 and INR 39,325 respectively.
Other-state candidates pay INR 26,000–INR 30,500 for regular UG programmes. Hostel + mess adds ≈INR 42,625 in the first year (separate). No major fee revision announced for 2026–27 session, keeping Anna University the lowest-cost NIRF Top-15 engineering institution in India.
