Georgetown University is a private research university which was founded in 1789. It is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher learning in the United States. The university was established in an area of 60-acre land in the Georgetown neighbourhood of Washington DC. Over the years, the university has expanded to be recognized as an international research university. It is one of the worlds leading academic and research institutions that prepares its students to contribute towards the well being of the society in future. It is a community of excellent faculty, exceptional students and dedicated staff who believes in the faith and services of the university.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

Georgetown University has nine schools and an affiliated hospital. It has campuses located at five locations. These are the main campus, Medical Center, Law Center, School of Continuing Studies and the Georgetown Qatar campus of the university. The university is home for passionate and energetic people from around the world. Students are welcome to take admission in over 12,000 undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in various disciplines. The university has 17 undergraduate residences to provide accommodation to students. The residence halls include apartments, dormitories and townhouses which provide the best ambience for students to stay in a place away from home.
