History, Affiliations & Rankings

Alliant International University (AIU) was formed from the merger of three institutions namely San Francisco Law School, United States International University and the California School of Professional Psychology. The University is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) also offering programmes accredited by The American Psychological Association (APA), the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) among others. 

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

AIU has multiple campuses located in Sacramento, the Bay Area and San Diego. The University has four international campuses in Tokyo (Japan), Mexico City (Mexico), Hong Kong & Nairobi (Kenya) and also offers online programmes to its students. Students at the university choose from a wide array of fields and interests. The most popular programmes chosen by students are Law, Forensics, Business, Education & Psychology.

Accomplishments & Alumni

Students at AIU work with staff & faculty to capture every opportunity to build partnerships with industry organisations, publish their work, and participate in industry-conferences while earning their degrees. The university ensures that students have the professional skills, practice & experience needed to begin making an impact on the ground from the first step taken at the commencement stage.

Alliant International students provide over one million hours of consulting, mental health and other services to the communities around the area with a specific focus on under-served populations. They also research various social and behavioural issues in conjunction with these services. Being affiliated with the California School of Professional Psychology, The Psychological Service Centers  provide an important and inclusive part of the clinical psychology training programs at CSPP.  Nearly 50,000 alumni of the University are working in various fields and come from various walks of life like the United Nations, many non-profit organisations, U.S. Congress and more. 

Student Diversity & Visiting Companies

AIU has a total undergraduate enrollment of 721 students, with a gender distribution of 52 percent male students and 48 percent female students. The University has a total enrollment number of 3,659 for the 2019-2020 academic year. Students from China and Qatar are highest in numbers among the international students. Firms that most frequently hire graduates from Alliant International are: Head Start, U.S. Bank, CareCorp National, U.S House of Representatives & NAMI San Diego among others.
