Antioch University was initially named Antioch college, and the first campus was at Yellow Springs, Ohio in 1852. Antioch was the first college in the country to have a female faculty. It was quite a revolutionary college at that time as it accepted Back and white students for the same programs without any discrimination and it had a policy that no student wouldn’t be turned away because of race, color, and creed. The University’s rank is tied at 173 in Clinical Psychology by US News and World Report 2020.    
 
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

Based out of Keene, New Hampshire, AUNE is the oldest Antioch University campus. It is Antioch University's second-largest campus, with more than 1,200 graduate-level students. Popular courses include Business Administration and Management, English Language and Teaching, Creating writing etc.
 
Accomplishments & Alumni

University New England university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Antioch University, NE is committed to providing education geared towards Environmental Sustainability and Social Justice. University came up with two ways to make sure that it sticks to the motto. First, a Social Justice Audit was launched in 2006. And then the University conducted an examination of Antioch University New England’s greenhouse gas emissions and developed a Climate Action Plan, a 10-year road map to get carbon neutrality by the year 2020. In 2014, University launched the first Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station available for public use. Prominent alumni include educator and academic David Sobel, gay rights activist William J. Lippert, Jr., and Ecologist H. Emerson Blake.

Though the university only offers graduate program it has a total of 9,946 graduate students; students here come from 53 states and territories and 33 countries representing 6 continents.

Alumni of the university work in all different fields with organizations like Keene State College, Clinical & Support Options, Inc., Mass Audubon, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and The Brattleboro Retreat to name a few.
