Established in April 1924, Harding University is the largest private university in Searcy, Arkansas, USA. Though the main campus is at Arkansas, the university has campuses around the world. The University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

US News and World Report 2020 ranks the university at 240 in national universities. Times Higher Education ranks it > 600th in the US College Rankings 2020.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The Harding University has its main campus in Searcy, Arkansas. This campus is spread on 350 acres of land and constitutes 40 buildings. University also has another campus of Harding School of Theology situated in Memphis, Tennessee. International campuses are located in spread across the world in Australia, England, Italy, Paris, Greece, Chile, and Zambia. The university offers 10 undergraduate degrees for more than 100 academic majors, 14 pre-professional programs, and 21 graduate and professional degrees.
Popular majors include Business, Management, Marketing, Education, Health Professions and Related Programs, Communication, Journalism, and Computer and Information Sciences.

Accomplishments & Alumni

The university played an important domestic role during the Cold War by promoting pacifism and political disengagement. The university is also ranked at 322 in Top Performers of National Universities, and 143 in Engineering Programs.
The university has a list of accomplished alumni which include James D. Bale, a professor and an administrator, Mary Elizabeth Bentley, a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, and Stephen Mark Brown, an American opera tenor.

Student Diversity & Visiting Companies

Harding University has a student body of 5,122 students. These students represent 50 states and 50 countries. The institution has a positive gender ratio with 55% of the students attending the undergraduate courses are women. Only 29% of the undergraduate students belong to Arkansas. About 300 students from 30 countries also study at Harding. Harding University has a dedicated Career Services department. The department helps in career preparation by helping in resume writing, preparing cover letters, enhancing interview skills, and familiarising with career tools.
