With the world starting to get back on its feet after the pandemic, services and accessibility to these services are slowly commencing their operations. Similarly, Hawaii Pacific University has decided to begin their sessions for 2020 with major COVID-19 regulations and precautions, allowing for the safety and health of all involved. HPU is dedicated to offering the students the best possible academic experience while keeping them safe during these unprecedented times. Students, staff and faculty members, alike will be asked to participate in the COVID-19 precaution routines for the benefit of all stakeholders involved.
HPU will be offering in-person classes this session, with an option of Online classes for those who are unwilling to join the in-person classes. In this case, students will be required to contact their faculty members and communicate the same.
Since in-person participation has resumed on-campus, many health and safety routines will be strictly followed such as daily health questionnaires, screenings and other precautions.
The questionnaires will be available on the university’s MyHPU app, which needs to be updated every day, mandatorily.
While on-campus, students will be asked to ensure that they maintain the social distancing practices such as wearing face-masks or coverings, keeping a distance of 6 feet between each other and washing one’s hands ever so often.
