Quincy University was established in 1860 by Franciscan friars. It is a private university based in Quincy, Illinois. This private University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs. The ranking of the university is 36 in Regional Colleges Midwest and 19 in top performers on Social Mobility by the US News and World Report 2020 edition. 

Infrastructure, Campus, & Courses

Located in the 70-acres city campus, Quincy University offers various undergraduate programs in Fine Arts and Communication, Science and Technology, Humanities, Behavioral And Social Sciences, the School of Business, and the School of Education. The most popular majors at Quincy University include Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services; Health Professions and Related Programs; Biological and Biomedical Sciences; Parks, Recreation, Leisure, and Fitness Studies; and Education.

Accomplishments & Alumni 

The university is a part of NCAA Division II and Great Lakes Valley Conference and several teams succeeded in winning championships. 

Notable alumni are Rick Hummel, a baseball writer, Kane Professional wrestler, John Mahoney student of Bachelor of Arts who became an actor on television and theatre.
