University of New Mexico, UNM was founded in 1889 as New Mexico’s flagship institution. The main campus of the university is UNM West, which is also known as UNM Health Sciences Rio Rancho Campus. The branch campuses of the university are Gallup, Los Alamos, Taos and Valencia. UNM west is situated in Albuquerque city and occupies an area of 800 acres. The QS Global World University Ranking of UNM is 601-650.
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
The university houses twelve Colleges and Schools that offer a wide range of degree programmes. The courses offered include 215 degree and certificate programmes, 71 Master’s degree courses and 37 doctoral degrees. The university has 8 residence halls, 15 living learning communities and 2000 residents to provide accommodation facilities to students. The library system of UNM has the largest collection of books in the state. It is an electronic and digital service that allows users to access the library 24/7 from any location.

The university is home to over 1,500 international students and scholars. UNM offers an environment where the students are free to explore their interest and passion.
